Emermalt
He heard himself speak,
He heard his voice meek,
He found his own feet,
To drum his own beat.
But when it would seem,
She fell from a dream,
His mind would scheme,
This troublesome scene.
He faces not her eyes,
For fear of the lies,
He faces not her body,
In hopes not to be naughty,
But the dainty emerald reckless,
It hung delicate, breathless.
Malts were her fancy,
For not to be difficult,
The lad named her his lovely Emermalt.
